My First 30 Submission“Wea… She Walks From The Fire” Born of flame and prophecised to be the bringer of destruction and rebirth. However, in the vain of “War” from the Darksiders storyline. Wea’s purpose was mistaken when a false prophet called for her return to aid in the conquest of several surrounding civilizations. Her subjects disturbed to find that Wea’s chosen form was to that of a woman, as with many early civilizations her status as a female was seen as betrayal and ultimately the foremost supernatural gladiators under the oppression of (the yet untitled) masters of the dominant civilization were commanded to destroy Wea and bring to the kings her heart split into five equal pieces.

Yeah, straight from the stereotypes of Native America… NO! No historical, traditional or sensationalized stereotype here. Wea, completely made up with ZERO significance to any tribal affiliation in the U.S., or any aboriginal group belonging to their respective continents.

I’m registered with the Navajo Tribe here in the U.S. and with the likes of Avatar, Dances with Wolves, Little Big Man and The Indian In The Cupboard… I feel it’s time a real contribution was made on behalf of some true indigenous blood.

Awesome, man- an aboriginal fiction that MUST be told. Great pose, too- full of an assuredness she might not entirely possess!
