#14 – Young Scholar

Your shirt is too big, your pants are too short, you thumb is on the wrong side of your hand (?!), your back is killing you from being hunched over in a tiny chair for days, but that’s okay. You’re finally figuring it out.

Front interviewing the elders to digging up old lore and fairy tales, you patiently tracked the thread of truth throughout the ages, and it all led you to here. The myth of the masked ones? Totally real. Why aren’t they here anymore? Well, you’re holding in your hand the journal of a wizard from centuries ago, and in it he describes how he sealed them all in boxes of iron. You can hardly wait to tell your elders and to write it down, so everyone can know.

Unfortunately you’re killed and the whole place is set on fire before you have the chance.

(as you can probably tell, the quality of these is getting pretty laughable, but finals week is upon me and I don’t have much time to draw for me at the moment 🙁 )

About the Author ()

Hello! Currently I am a senior Illustration major at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with the intention of doing children's book illustration. I love drawing monsters and ridiculous creatures, but I also love doing stupidly over-detailed fantasyish characters as well! (though that's more of a personal hobby at this point). It will be interesting to see how this goes with the end of the quarter and finals coming up, but hopefully I'll be able to keep up!
