The rest of them

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

So I guess I forfeit now, since I really can’t write all the characters down into fleshed out posts I feel satisfied with in time. But here are the ideas for the rest of the characters.
#20 A therapist for sexist guys
#21 An alien who gets every part of humanity except what the point of gender roles is since there are no sexes on their planet
#22 A woman willingly possessed by a muse scarf so she can have fame and fortune
#23 The muse scarf who’s the reincarnated ghost of an author that just wants to write books
#24 A curious naga boy
#25 A guy with the power to be friends with anyone he talks to
#26 A little girl that keeps trying reckless things because she thinks she has more than just invulnerability as a superpower
#27 A witch with powers of luck and weather, based off old cat superstitions
#28 A robot that treats bodily functions as a novelty
#29 The leader of a slightly-mutated society lving underground after a nuclear fallout
#30 A rich guy who was living in a space hotel before the nuclear apocalypse and goes down to gawk at the underground society

Next year I’ll have better time management skills, probably. Peace out y’all! It’s been fun.

#28 – Elvynn

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Lyncii, when they were discovered by the humans and the Ekros, were thought to be a primitive people at first. However, it was discovered that the Lyncii are actually very intelligent – vastly more logical and factual than any known creature in the universe. They had discovered and observed laws of the universe that had never been even dreamed of by the humans and Ekros. They are adaptable and they learn things very well… but they lack an ability to innovate. Their arts are stale and repetitive, they lack an ability to connect with the magic arts, and their technology development is slow and unpromising, after thousands upon thousands of years of civilization. So an exchange of knowledge occurred between the alien races – the Lyncii shared their scientific discoveries, while the humans and the Ekros shared in their advanced technology and infrastructure. The Lyncii’s standard of living improved drastically since, but they’re looked down upon as dim-witted creatures who leech upon the success of others.

One notable of this race is a historian named Elvynn, a middle-aged Lyncii with a small family. The Lyncii, thanks to their strong memories and observation skills, make wonderful historians and scientists. Elvynn does have a slight bit of a creative mind to him, but to a Lyncii, a small smidgen of creativity is a rarity and a blessing upon blessings. Elvynn, anyway, is more concerned about studying history than he is about creating things. He trails around parties, giving helpful advice and interesting facts about battles of old. He doesn’t quite consider himself a professional, but more of an enthusiast. His knowledge is vast, and he’s an excellent cartographer. Exploring is one of his greatest passions on top of history, and he teaches many of all kinds of races along his travels. He returns home every few months to his family, then sets off again on the next great adventure.

#25 Two Headed Ogre

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Right and wrong, good and evil, at least you don’t have two heads debating everything you do.  The Ogre is cursed with two heads that differ on every decision it makes.

# 2&30 Just 1 more?

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

So during this whole challenge, alot of people have suggested to me to do a character of myself…and my boyfriend-So these two creatures are representatives of us-Me, the snuggle bunny/koala mix…and him as the calm & collected (sometimes too serious) wolf-like character. I sometimes really do feel like a kid around him and all I want is to be hugged and cuddled….I find myself saying to him many times….”Just 1 more? please?”

Interestingly–I have 1 more character to do before this challenge ends! Just 1 more!

#26 – Doctor Muffles

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Doctor Muffles got his name because no one can make out a word he says due to his huge “cookie brush”. We’re not sure he has a mouth to speak through, for all we know.

#30 Expedition

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

He is the last one. All his comrades have fallen to what he came to hunt. No human has seen it and lived. Will he?

#24 Snake Man

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Snake man was once a college student obsessed with the occult and turning this world into his favorite role playing game, to do this he gave up his body and became part snake. while it has some bonuses, he is now cold blooded.

#19 Natalie

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Okay so it is clear that I’m not going to be able to put all my characters in considering half of them are half baked. But here’s another, named Natalie.
She’s super nervous and insecure and dilly dallies and procrastinates all the time, except no one knows that. They think she’s a confident, super awesome, super intelligent person.
This is because she can stop time and she does so all the time so she can decide and make choices. She got this power by making a wish on her 10th birthday that miraculously got granted. Now she will stop after almost every spoken line and may debate what the best thing to say is for at least a half an hour. She doesn’t improve and become a person who can make good choices because she uses the power as a MAJOR crutch. People on the outside see her as the calm, collected, clever person she spends hours formulating.

#23 Monster Hunter

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Elizabeth LeBlanc was just your average history major till monsters appeared. She then lead the human resistance fighting monsters and protecting her colleagues.

#29 Un Nouveau Monde

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

She will unleash a violent life upon this sterile world, marking the death of all those of her kind. They strove to excise themselves from the nature that birthed them, to be encased in sprawling fortresses of stone and concrete and steel. But the length of their divorce opened them up to dangers previously unknown, as their native nature became a foreign threat. The world will return to the timeless chaotic stillness as it has been and shall be for eons to come. The great domes shall become gardens, and then dust.

#27 – Happy Funky Nose Frog Guy

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

He’s a little guy with a funky nose… who thinks he’s a frog. He follows people around, croaking and hopping along merrily. He never gives anyone his name, and always has a smile on his face… so he’s known creatively as the Happy Funky Nose Frog Guy. The locals are not very creative, are they?

Rumor says he may have once been a kid named Albert who lived on a farm… a farm right in the middle of a bog. After a flood killed his family, and nearly killed him, he’s never been the same since… hopping around like he’s gone mad.

#22 Death’s Reaper

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Bradford Georgeson was a angry man in the 1700’s so angry that when he died of a stress induced heart attack he was offered the chance of a eternity. To kill Death itself, the reaper had oversteeped his bounds and its Bradford’s job to fix it.

#28 Elvis-714

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Elvis-714

The 714th clone of his gene sequence, this alien was the only survivor of the craft that crashed in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. After being released from Air Force observation in 1962, he joined U.N.S.C.E.N.E. and appended his name to Agent Elvis-714.

Elvis-714’s motivation for joining U.N.S.C.E.N.E. is to help clean up the mess his crash made. It was leaking fuel from his craft that cause the mutations leading to most of the world’s superly-abled.

After decades of policing the heroes and villains of the world, Elvis-714 takes a stern approach when dealing with the superly-abled.

#17 Miranda #18 James

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Miranda is a dragon. Yep. She’s been James’ dragon for a good thirty years. Usually you don’t bond so closely with a dragon because they’re specialized and you get a new one as you move up the ranks. They’re about as smart as crows and are treated as a cross between weapons and warhorses. There isn’t any permanent-magical-bond going on, but if you’re in the same rank for long enough then you do gain a strong friendship in a pet/master way.
Miranda’s a defense dragon, super bulky, super huge, super slow. She’s about 3 1/2 times the size of an elephant and has ankylosaurus-tough armor all over. She can’t fly but she can glide a bit and jump high with wing help. She’s a little rowdy and enjoys crushing people but she loves James and will listen to him when it’s super necessary. She works hard but kinda stopped caring about any human lives other than his. He has to hold her back from doing nasty things sometimes. James loves her but is also terrified that she might get angry he’s ordering her around so much and just kill him. He can never ever really forget how much power she has. She would never do that of course, he’s just kind of paranoid

Okay so James. He’s both the leader of the defensive forces in the war and the trainer for new recruits. He’s in his mid-40’s. He would actually rather…not be in the war, or at least not all up in the front lines.
He’d rather be tending to the wounded and being a nurse-person but that’s restricted to women (aka the witches). He tries to avoid getting hurt or causing hurt to anyone. He used to get in trouble for protecting his unit too well…as in not actually letting them get to the opposing forces (he was secretly trying to protect the opposers as well), and after that, pulling them away too quickly so they’d charge for like 2 seconds until he’d get afraid and tell them to leave. He managed to shape it into an excellent defense technique so that his forces would almost never get hurt and be able to wear down the other side. He’s, over time, become okay with the killing as long as HE’s not doing it, making him kind of hypocritical. He’s also a sort of feminist, less because he wants women to have more jobs and more because he wants to be able to have theirs (previously people’d thought only women could learn to do magic but even though this was proven false before the war, they’re too used to the status quo and really can’t afford to do a giant overhaul of the system cuz, yanno, WAR).

#26 – The Rose Fairy

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Rose Fairy is the keeper of a lovely rose garden, said to never wilt or wither, hidden in a place that no human is said to reach… or at least leave alive. As soft and demure as she looks, the Rose Fairy guards her garden with an almost paranoid fervor. Those who stumble across her garden are said to be enchanted by the endless perfumes of the flowers, and always attempt to pick or smell the roses… only to find themselves stabbed with a deadly poisonous thorn by a flower-petaled fairy with bright, venom-green eyes.

So much she loves her garden, the Fairy is incredibly egotistical and easily envious of other flowerbeds. It’s said that she tries to visit those with spectacular gardens to strangle their flowers to death. She’s even rumored to have destroyed Eden itself. She blesses those who offer her yellow roses on their doorsteps and porches, and those who find black rose petals in their garden have caught the eye of her wrath.

#25 – Cookie

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

Also known as the Demon Photographer, Cookie’s one true love in life is her collage-like photography work. She takes photos of interesting people or objects, prints them, and cuts them into pieces. She arranges the pieces into odd formations or creatures… and for some reason, these assemblies of photographs have a habit of coming to life. Cookie never seems to be aware of this… despite the fact that they often walk off as living creatures, terrorizing the locals. Whenever one of her precious artworks go missing, she tends to shrug, and go out with her camera to make even more. Even stranger is that she never seems to encounter these photo monsters herself. Everyone knows these monsters come from her… but everyone’s too afraid to confront her about it, for fear of her hiding something even more horrible up her sleeve.

She doesn’t, really. But she’s going to keep making those collages until her mysteriously unbreakable camera breaks…

#24 – Ambrosia the Ekros

| November 30, 2011 | 0 Comments

The Ekros, being giant avian creatures, are well known for their ability to battle from the skies. Ambrosia is one of these war aviators. With her trusty wings and her jet  backpack, Ambrosia slices through the skies of distant worlds at breakneck speeds, always searching for a new quest. Her home life was simple and her life story a bit dull, so she’s always had a never-ending thirst for adventure and glory. As a result, she tends to get in over her head, and is always itching to move somewhere. She feels most at home in the skies, and gets twitchy whenever she’s forced upon the ground. Ambrosia’s a bit naive, and can be a bit careless and even cruel. Her selfish desire for adventure and recognition sometimes blinds her to what’s right.
