| November 9, 2012 | 0 Comments

Post#6 — the Colonel: This character is part of my Chrono Tigers series. He belongs to a steampunk science fiction world of the late 19th century. Located in London, England, the Colonel is the nickname for the ex-military Lionel Davis. He is part of an organization that does time travel( Her Majesty’s Time Agents). There the Colonel is part of a team of agents (the Chrono Tigers) that fix and amend troubles within the time stream. As such, the Colonel and his team mates have been on missions that have lead them from ancient Egyt to the British colony on Mars.

The Colonel (Lionel Davis) is the heavy equiptment carrier for the Chrono Tigers. He tries to carry the heaviest guns, carries a large amount of the luggage the team sometimes has to have, and tries his best to project himself as a larger than life personality. This, however, belays his soft heart, which is seen in moments of disaster and the sight of small children ( he has been married before, but for some reason has lost his wife and children).

#9 Leon Rodin

| November 9, 2012 | 0 Comments

They started to find them in the early months of 2010. The first one was discovered in an ancient Mayan temple. Over the coming weeks they where found in the ruins of a Roman church, in a safe in the captains cabin onboard the sunken Titanic, even clutched tightly in the skeletal arms of a Neanderthal man. To date one hundred and sixty eight of these artefacts have been uncovered.

They are called known by many different names. Most countries and religious have their own thoughts and feelings towards the relics and as such name them for themselves. The most widely used term is ‘The god Runes’.

Triangular in shape the god Runes appeared to be made from some form of rock, but every test came back with nothing, the material had no match to anything seen my man before. The same went for the strange markings on the artefacts, the symbols where familiar across all one hundred and sixty eight runes but shared nothing in common with any written or spoken language on earth.

Many people have taken to studying the Runes. One such person is Leon Rodin.

Leon was a successful art historian, before the first god Rune was found. Now nearly three years later he is the owner of three of the runes, in huge debt because of this, he dedicates himself to uncovering their secrets. Locked away in his London apartment he doesn’t sleep and barely eats, his eyes grow dark and his beard thick as he toils to uncover the runes mysterious.

Falling asleep at his desk after a week of no rest Leon missed what the rest of the world witnessed. A comet so close to the earth that it lit the night sky as if on fire. It had gone as quickly as it had appeared, leaving astronomers perplexed. The moment it passed all one hundred and sixty eight runes began to faintly glow. Something had been awoken in them.

Red, blue and green light started to fill Leon’s small apartment as his runes lit up, the light waking him from his sleep. Shocked and enthralled in equal measure he reached out to the now red rune. Searing pain shot through his arm, he screamed in anguish as his whole body surged and shook. Just like the comet the pain had gone as quickly as it had appeared.

The rune was no longer glowing, but Leon was. He felt strange, powerful, excited beyond belief. He looked at the other two glowing runes and reached out to them both. As his body convulsed he engulfed the other two runes, he smirked as a thought struck him. One hundred and sixty five runes where still out there.

Mirage Raider (Sniper)

Countless Necromancers have long dictated the disadvantages of raising the dead as an army-  the undead subjects suffer from rapid necrosis of the flesh, and are devoid of having a consciousness.

Countless Necromancers were wrong indeed.

Possessing a great capacity for combat intelligence, the Mirage Raiders are nothing you’d expect out of an undead strike force.

Unlike the Restless Red which were forcefully animated by necromancy, the Mirage Raiders were elite warriors,  given life once again through the synergy of Necromancy and Alchemy.

Despite the limitations of being undead, the minds of the Mirage raiders are honed sharp with killer instincts which they developed in their lives, and their flesh still strong through the unique augmentation of alchemy.

Loyal Elite guards vowing to serve the emperor as the special task force even after death, and armed with advanced weaponary developed by  Abdara- the mad scientist ,the Mirage raiders are definitely a force to be reckoned with even in their  afterlife.

Tsumasu Ryukon holding a lantern

He’s never been to a formal school, but to everyone’s surprise, Tsumasu Ryukon is very much an intellectual. He’s studied the Ao Liese spirits as well as Harayin, the language of Ao Lai. He travels via super cow-pulled wagon, sharing knowledge. He wants to be married, though, so he’s looking for a wife.

11/08/2012: Molg, Ginza Hive Soldier

| November 9, 2012 | 0 Comments

The primitive warrior race known as the Ginza are from a lonely star system on the farthest ring of Esrah’s Belt. Uplifted from a stone-age civilization to work as bodyguards and hired killers, many Ginza have found their way to Nexus city as part of a merchant or noble’s retinue. Though compact and relatively clumsy, the Ginza are incredibly strong, their deadly beaks able to cut through flesh, bone, and carapace with ease. Ginza bites have even been purported to bypass power armor on more than one occasion. If there is one downside to the utilizing the Ginza as retainers, it is their willful stubbornness. Matched with a level of intelligence bordering on non-sapience, the Ginza can become easily confused and, once a notion is in their head, there’s no dissuading them from it.

The Child Dato Go

Dato Go by candle

A boy living on the streets, Dato Go has learned his way around Xixumasa, or “Water City.” It’s toughened him a bit, but also made him ultra curious and too excited at the thought of exploration. He’s been on many already, and even though he can look frail, he’s a very fast runner.

Day Six: Amorveous (Amy)

| November 9, 2012 | 0 Comments

Two minutes, that was quick, indeed — a new record. Where once piping hot pudding and melting mountains of ice cream slouched were now faint streaks of creamy, crumbly, residue of dessert and regret. Amy finished polishing the bowl with her tongue — don’t ask where the mouth is — until the, now cool, ceramic surface tasted more of object and less of desire.
This jaunt into flavour country would mean a lot of mirror-gazing but damn, the descent into self doubt was tasty.
