Day 21 – The Storm Sisters
Without armor: http://31.media.tumblr.com/6eca86f61bdfba9d540ec7071e8a4061/tumblr_mwp16tWU0P1stmkqio2_1280.jpg
Natural born triplets, the battle sisters Phara, Maribell, and Aurora (pictured here left to right and youngest to oldest). Born less than 5 minutes apart from each other, these sisters have always been exceptionally close after losing their parents. Their childhood was littered with disciplinary marks however, as the three sisters were habitual pranksters. They’d even developed the strategy of always dressing alike and having one of the three of them somewhere obvious to have an alibi, so that no senior officer could punish one of them without risking punishing the wrong one. This backfired shortly after they were inducted to the ranks of the sister acolytes, as the three of them were often disciplined together if any of them disobeyed. This led to them becoming very well attuned to working together, both in and out of combat.
While attending to prisoners of faith in one of their punishments, a riot broke out and one of the heretics got his hands on a lasgun and struck Phara. Although she attempted to block, the weapon was on full charge and dealt significant damage to her. In the months to follow, after being repaired by the adeptus mechanicus, her personality became a little more pragmatic, and ended up leading her sisters unit when the three of them made Battle sister rank.
As Left Wing, they march aside with powerful storm bolters, unleashing a hurricane of bolt fire on any target that Right wing cannot yet get into flamer range with. While Phara leads with calm determination, her older sisters still can’t help making jokes or throwing insults at enemies as they rain death down upon them, the echoing sound of laughter and gunfire the last thing many a heretic ever hears.
Wilcox Post#14 — Absu
Absu is a major monster/villian of my series of magic girls (see my posts# 12 & 13) and the Cosmic Fire Action Heroes(coming up in future posts).
Absu was lifted from Sumer mythology. He is the consort and chief lieutenant of the Bad Guy of the these series — Tiamet (chaos dragon)(posted in my 2012 contributions). Tiamet and her monster horde came from a different dimensional space; conquering worlds as they spread out, till they reached Earth. Earth’s heroes and villains alike saw the danger of this invading force, and joined forces to fight back the monster horde.
Arm wrestling champs in three counties. They’re not good at anything else. Poor things.
Blake is a moron. His mother told him that he suffered a terrible injury and has never been able to walk. She did this so that he would never leave home and stay with her forever. Blake figured since he can’t walk that he would learn to use a pogo stick instead. Black hops all over town and still lives with his mom.
Reece is the leader of the delinquents. He’s the one who decided to make everyone wear masks. This was after he got drunk, passed out and his friends superglued a mask to his face. The mask couldn’t be removed unless he underwent painful surgery.
Tank is the captain of the wrestling team, but there are some people who are trying to get him kicked off the team if he doesn’t take off the mask.
Evie is a “magic girl” type wizard. A lot of her powers come from the magic wristband she wears on her left arm. And while she is too mischievous to be one of the good guys of my magic girl series; she does work with the heroines to beat off major threats to their kingdom.
The only girl in the group. She gets the shakes when she gets angry. She chose the weird sheep mask because she thinks it’s deep and philosophical, some sort of reflection on society.
Goob is short for goober and since he’s so short his buddies shorten his name too. Goobs mask is possibly the worst of the bunch.
Insists he’s not anything like Leif Garrett. He’s decided that as long as he’s going to wear a mask for the rest of his life he’s also going to wear mumus and bed sheets instead of regular clothes.
A new wave of delinquents are taking over, except they all wear masks. Their parents don’t even know what they look like anymore.
He’s the updated version of the smoking man from the show X-Files. E-cigs are the smokes of choice for the smoking man now.
Wilcox Post#12 — Celestria
Celestria is a “magic girl” wizard. Her magic happens from pure will power, allowing her to create magic that is close to ESP/PSI. She is one of the heroines on my series of magic girls.
B-man, the B stands for battery. He’s basically just a walking battery that F-Man has programmed to follow him around in case he needs power for something.
Haley is F-Man’s girlfriend. She’s used to disappointment and has a tremendous amount of patience.
F-Man has been reading old E-Man comics and he thinks he’s the latest and greatest thing. The F stands for fusion. F-Man may not fully understand the difference between fusion and fission. This could spell disaster.
Chuck thinks that all it takes to be a superhero is to wear underpants and boots.
A cantankerous descendant of Poseidon, Nor settled in the north Atlantic and loves to whip the sea into a frenzy from time to time.
Leslie the swashbuckler has had to overcome her poor eye-sight to become a skilled warrior. She was looked down on by the other swashbucklers and pushed herself to be the best she could be. Eventually, even the most skilled amongst them had to admit she was the best fencer they had ever seen. Now she travels around righting wrongs and confronting evil. She uses her handicap to catch people off guard and appear weak where she is strongest. Pity the fool who tries to defeat her by removing her glasses.
Smoking, drinking and fighting. He’s not a good role model for our hero….
