#5 Dualiet

| November 6, 2011 | 0 Comments

This is Dualiet, another monster for my comic. Dualiet is unique in that there is only one of its kind. It is also male nor female, it simply just is. Dualiet is composed of two bodies and one brain. Their bodies form and mold through and around each other like clay, passing on the brain from one body to another and back again. So technically, it is only one being.

I’m guessing Dualiet will be important at some point in my comic, but I’m not exactly sure what yet. Also I’m falling behind aaaaah!

#4 The Wilkie

This is character number four of the 30 character challenge, Wilkie. Or, rather, she’s a Wilkie.

Wilkies are a type of fae I’ve sort of invented myself. They are miserable, horrifying faeries that are nearly impossible to avoid. Despite their look, they are not spirits nor are they undead. Rather, they are the embodiment of a persons’ regrets and shame. Once materialized, they savagely consume said person. This is just a portrait of a Wilkie which materialized from a female, as there are also male Wilkies.

#3 Margh

My third character for my comic, Margh. Margh is the imp which steals Agnes away into the forest, and ultimately into the realm of monsters and fae. I tried to produce my own take on what an imp should look like. He has horns, red skin, beady little eyes, but he has backwards skinny legs. He runs in quite a clumsy way, as one can imagine. Unfortunately, his existence in my comic is short-lived, as he is quickly killed by Ailís. But I think I will continue to draw him, he is just so…fun.

Also I guess I should start thinking of a name for this comic. For now, it is “The Comic Which Is Playing Around in My Head”.

#2 Agnes

This is my second character and main protagonist of the comic playing around in my head, Agnes. Agnes is a little girl who enjoys running about and exploring and other little girl things. She lives with both of her parents and leads a fairly normal life, until she is whisked away by an imp when she was carelessly wandering around and is taken into a realm of faeries and monsters. She manages to escape her captor with the help of another monster, but now she finds herself in this world she didn’t even know existed! She needs to find a way back home through this foreign realm with the help of the monster who ended up accidentally saving her.

(Sorry for not using up all of the space of this thing I didn’t realize she would be so tiny ahah…)

#1 Ailís

| November 1, 2011 | 0 Comments

My newest character and first submission for the 30 character challenge, Ailís! She is one of the main characters for a story I have playing around in my head, with a ton of faeries and monsters and shit in it. I think I’ll let it develop further.

Ailís is a type of monster who can pull away her skin, and have it instantly form back to the way it was. Also, she has skin covering her eyes. She can pull back the skin on her eyes, and when she does so she is able to see a person as their metaphysical self, what they’re worth, their emotions, their values, everything that makes them them. She is, of course, sightless when the skin is over her eyes. Also she only has one arm and tentacle legs.

(This is my first submission ever for something like this so uh hey guys!)
