#10 – Ptah

| November 10, 2010 | 6 Comments

Ptah is the Egyptian god of craftsmen, specifically stoneworking. As a member of the 3 Gods Construction Company with Vulcan and Hephaestus, Ptah believes in the value of hard work. If he could, he’d try and do it all himself. To that end, Ptah decided to go all out by modifying his body to include any construction equipment he needed. He likes to be called the “Constructa-God” but most just call him “Tonka-Toy”.

Malloren is , in my story, one of the few but many wolves born with wings. After a life of an outcast, she begins to gather a pack herself, with her as alpha female. But her hope for peace for wing-backed wolves, is soon shattered apart.

Ariadne

I realized this morning that I wasn’t feeling very inspired.  Then I remembered I’d come up with this dragon girl off the top of my head last Friday, and I liked her.  So I’ll put her up for today and hope my muse returns tomorrow.

Perhaps she lives in a secluded forest in or near Macedonia.  I imagine she’d like to fly around purely for the joy of it, taking in the wondrous feelings that nature invokes.  Perhaps there is one special village that she knows she can trust, and the villagers know they can visit her in the woods safely.  Maybe she fell for a strapping young lad who lived in the town many years ago, and she never had the heart to leave.  It could be that the villagers allow her one pick from their flocks each month in exchange for her protecting the flocks from other predators.  But whatever the case, she is a carefree and benevolent soul.

#10 Lt. Theron Jones

| November 10, 2010 | 3 Comments

The pilot for Odin Squadron 4, Theron is a solid pilot with a solid flight record. In stark contrast to the Valkyrie’s Lt. Gomez, Theron is not an outright daredevil. He relishes the thrill of flying, but he also likes staying alive after doing so. He’s often serves as the voice of reason when his teammates want to go off and kill something without a plan or just cry in the corner.

Poor Theron. He’s surrounded by lunatics.

TYR

Tyr is a character I am going to introduce in my Sci-fi comic story… Can’t wait to show off some of these things off to you… Here is only a taste of bigger things to come.

El Loco character Bible #1: El Madadora

| November 10, 2010 | 0 Comments

Please excuse my horrible artwork.

I am the promotional manager for the Tucson Comic Con and it just ended this past Saturday and it lead in to Sunday (if you know what I mean).  So I am a bit late at this so I’m going to catch up.

I am writing a comic called “El Loco” with Arnie Bermudez. I’m going to use this as a Character bible for the artist and my self to use.

This character is going to be “The Matadora”.  She’s just how I like my women crazy, mysterious, and witty.

You know when you come up with a new character, and then you need to come up with a cool name? Yeah, today wasn’t one of those days! 😛

#10 Future Zoie

| November 10, 2010 | 0 Comments

A quick sketch I did in the Zombie George Sketch book. A character i’ve been thinking about introducing in the zombiegeorge.com world. Future Zoie would be sent back to the past to stop the past Zoie from doing all of her evil deeds.

#9 The Spotted Toad

During WWII, Dick Braithwaite was known as The Alpha Combatant – the ultimate American soldier, created by the most advance medical science of the day.

Now, in 2010, the 90 year old Braithwaite is an absurdly senile old man living in a nursing home. That is, until he is outfitted with the Omega Suit by the U.S. Government. The Omega suit feeds off of Braithwaite’s (possibly super enhanced) senility, using it to bend, break, and subvert the laws of physics – limited only by the creativity and will of the wearer. The other up-side? While using the suit, Dick is not only strong and invulnerable, he also loses his dementia.

Aside from its senility-powered abilities, The original Omega Suit is equipped with a titanium filled mitt that when activated can be used as a malleable metal hand.

#5. Galera: Satyr Gladiatrix

| November 10, 2010 | 4 Comments

I sell commissions and original fantasy art as a part time job, and I’ve drawn many satyrs over the last few months. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a satyr gladiatrix. And probably neither have you. Until now. Meet Galera!

They killed his family. Then they killed him. Then he came back.

#8 Dr. Bling

| November 10, 2010 | 6 Comments

Another hero! Malcolm will be the ‘team leader’, so-to-speak, of a group of mutant teens. Their powers, including Malcolm’s, are brand new to each of them. Learning to deal with their bizzare abilities and deal with their rough lives will be their biggest challenge. Cool idea with a lot of rough edges. Could be something pretty solid with some more brain storming.

#10 Brother (Para)Noid

#9 – Harmata

| November 10, 2010 | 2 Comments

Harmata is a new character in the world and story of Art Geek Zoo: The Way of Sound.

Harmata was the first instrument familiar created by King Beatforge. A dedicated assistant, Harmata would keep King Beatforge’s workshop running, organized with supplies, and find homes for the various other creations that took shape from within the instrument furnace.

He carries a simple harmonica to pass the time when his workday is done and King Beatforge is away from the workshop. From time to time Harmata suffers from intense jealousy of King Beatforge’s other creations and has been suspected of stealing, hiding or breaking them but never been caught.
