#5 The Donor

| November 10, 2011 | 2 Comments

The Donor was the first AI created by the company.  Unfortunately, soon after it became activated, the Donor was dismantled because it began harming the staff.  The company was unable to remove the Donor’s  valuable CPU, optioning to instead connect it to the company’s servers.  The Donor now  servers as the company’s central computer system and most of its parts were used to create other AI’s.  Everyday, the Donor is trying to find a way to reassemble itself and become active again, with or without the help of the company.

2011 Challenger: Koko Sou

| October 19, 2011 | 1 Comment

Hi everyone. I’m Koko Sou.  I’m an Account Executive by day and artist by night.  I live and work in NYC. I participated in the 30 Character Challenge last year, but didn’t come close to completing.  Hopefully this year I will finish all 30 characters.  I write and draw my own webcomic.  Some of the characters in my webcomic were created in last year’s challenge. The first issue is available here, End Game  or at Graphicly.com.

#9 Dr. Mason’s Robot

| November 14, 2010 | 0 Comments

Dr. Mason was a scientist and a visionary.  His life’s work was to create a fully operational Artificial Intelligence.  After decades of hard work, Dr. Mason finally completed his robot.  Unfortunately, as Dr. Mason was teaching his robot how to be more human, Dr. Mason suffered a fatal heart attack.

The robot was left alone. Wanting to be more human and to honor his creator, the robot decided to attach Dr. Mason’s face over its head. Now he is…more human.

This a character that I had in my head for awhile.  I hope to use him in a future storyline

#7 The Fa’Culta Evertos

| November 9, 2010 | 0 Comments

For centuries the Fa’Culta  Evertos race has been warring with the Fiducias.  The Fa’Culta Everto and Fiducias share a planet and fight over their holy land.  The Fa’Culta however are more built to be warriors.  They are larger, faster and have a very thick hide.  They are very hard to kill. Though the Fa’Culta look like brutes, they are telepathic and some have telekinetic powers too.  To combat the Fa’Culta Evertos, the Fiducias must rely on their superior  weapons and technology.

Ringo Sanchez is a member of Thomas Blake’s team.  He is their scout and their sniper.  Though he is an expert marksman, he also carries a sword for more close range combat.

#5 The Guillotine Armor

| November 7, 2010 | 3 Comments

During the Cold War, the U.S. government wanted to create a weapon that can be used by a single soldier behind enemy lines.  This would limit endangering numerous soldiers in the battle field and reduce the need for air and ground support.  The thought process at that time, was to give a single soldier enough weapons and firepower to hunt and kill the enemies’ leaders and hope that would end the confrontation.   What they came up with was called The Guillotine Project.

After many failed attempts to perfect the weapon, the U.S. government enlisted the help of  Algernon Corporation.  The result was a mechanical armored suit that can be piloted be a single person.  The Guillotine Armor went through several modifications and several pilots.  The Armor was equipped with all of the latest technology and weapons but was never able reach it’s full potential because the pilots were unable to control the armor effectively.  Many of the pilots have developed disorders as a result of operating the Armor.

The Guillotine Armor required too much energy, a capable pilot, and the resources of over 20 people in a control center to be able to be fully functional.  Deemed combat ineffective,  The Guillotine Project was shut down and the armor was stored a military base until a better solution  for the project can found in the future.

Recently, the Guillotine Armor was stolen by Aaron Tate.

Aaron Tate was a black ops soldier, who a few years ago went mad and starting killing men on his team.  He was a sergeant on Thomas Blake’s  team.  Though his body was never found, Tate was believed to have died in an explosion.

It is unknown how Aaron Tate is operating the Guillotine Armor but he is using it the destroy Algernon Corporation’s research facilities.  After a few failed attempt to retrieve the Guillotine Armor back, the U.S. government has asked for the help of Thomas Blake, hoping that this past friendship with Aaron Tate would help lead them back the Armor.

#4 Dead Alien Supersoldier

I don’t have much on this guy.  Wanted to draw a dead alien super soldier and this is what I came up with.  Not sure if I’ll use him for my webcomic.

#3 Marcus Gordon

| November 3, 2010 | 1 Comment

Marcus Gordon. The “muscle” on Thomas Blake’s team.  Need weapons? He’s your guy.  Need to torture someone to get answers? He’s the man.  He’s the one carry the most artillery and the first to stick his neck out.   He loves movie trivia and pop culture.  He annoys the hell out of his teammates because he always talks to much on missions.

#2 Nathaniel E

| November 2, 2010 | 2 Comments

Not much is known about Nathaniel E. Not even this full last name. It is believed that Nathaniel was a soldier, who was injured by an IED.  He lost his arms in the explosion. The Algernon Corporation donated robotic limbs so that Nathaniel can continue to serve his country. After his tour of duty, Nathaniel showed his gratitude to Algernon by becoming the personal bodyguard to their CEO.

#1 THOMAS BLAKE

| November 1, 2010 | 1 Comment

This is Thomas Blake, the main character of my webcomic, Endgame. He was a former captain of a special forces team. He retired after being badly injured and becoming partly blind. Now, 6 years later, the government has asked him to come back and help them retrieve a stolen weapon, known as the Guillotine Project.

30 Characters Challenger: Koko Sou

Hi everyone. I am a pharma sales rep by day and an artist whenever the time will allow. I live in Manhattan, but grew up in Rhode Island. I hope to some day launch my own webcomic; all I need is time and energy. I wanted to do this challenge last year but I missed the deadline.   Anyway, I’m hoping this challenge will kick start my creative juices, get some of theses characters out of my head and force me get off my ass and get my webcomic together.
