Heya, I'm Chris, an aspiring webcomic artist! Nice of you to check out my #30characters page. The reason I'm doing this? Well, I guess it's because you can never draw too much, and this challenge is as good a time as any to experiment with all of the ideas I have bubbling around in my head. Hopefully they'll congeal into something that you'll enjoy to look at! See ya!

This animal only drinks oil, which explains the continuous fire in its belly. The tail is there only to serve as an exhaust pipe. Normally, the front incisors would be longer on this type of canine, but because of its ability to breathe fire their usefulness was removed via evolution. The facial markings of a smile are made from its main choice of food, which is charcoal and other such black minerals.

This monstrous bird was once thought to be a feathered dragon; however, after realizing that it could not breathe fire nor did it have any sort of canines, the theories were dismissed. It uses its powerful tail and spinal scales for mating rituals, as well as to defend its nest.

A rather cute creature in looks and nature, it depends on the bubblefruit for sustenance. Using its long tail (which seems to be its only appendage), it pierces the skin of the fruit and uses the tail’s internal esophagus to consume the contents over a long period of time. Needless to say, if the contents of the fruit are rotten or dry up, this animal will die.

#3 – Bald Hegretti

Not to be confused with its rather hirsute counterpart, the bald hegretti is a bipedal omnivore that lives in the warmer climates of the south. Its enormous appetite is satiated only by constantly eating whatever its enormous tongue comes into contact with; because this is not normally enough, its eyes have instead been replaced with tinier mouths, to eat any insects that happen to land on the creature’s skin. Suprisingly, while this creature looks more human than most, its behaviour is more akin to a dog’s than a man.

Though it belongs to the genus related to slugs and snails, this great creature’s name is translated as such in English. It is not understood how this monster devours its prey, or what the function of its singular eye is; there is no optic nerve connected, and it finds its way through its territory on touch alone.

Said to be a baby born under a lucky star, this humanoid now travels across the universe at breakneck speeds, spreading stardust across any planets he happens to pass by. Those who come into contact with his particles are said to be blessed with good fortune for a year. To find this elusive creature is indeed no easy task, but absolutely worth it.
