2013 Challenger: Amy Heisei

| October 21, 2013 | 0 Comments

I am Amy of the Heisei. I was a follow-through challenger in 2010 when I did my first total of 30 characters. I thought I’d try again last year: though I did work on some characters I never posted anything, so didn’t quite follow-through that time. This year, I plan to make my new thirty characters before I reach my dirty thirtieth birthday. I’ve already got some ideas for characters I’ve been meaning to manifest and I’m not gonna miss out this time. Looking forward to new beautiful creatures’ faces this year.

loonsloony-lights-pinkLast time I’d mentioned that I’d been doing music with my band “Light of the Loon.” Since then we’ve gotten a  definite violinist and have been excited how well we’ve been taking off. Looking forward to music festivals and hopefully our first mini-tour this spring. Wherever there is the enlightenment of loons, we’re not far away. May creativity rule the world! I have past work here on my profile and more at cephaloneiric.deviantart.com

2012 Challenger: Amy “Of Many Faces” Heisei

| October 23, 2012 | 0 Comments

I missed last year but finished the challenge two years ago when 30 Characters in 30 Days played a significant part in changing my life. We’ll see what it does to me this year. Last time it got me connected with the person I’ve been with for almost 2 years now, helped paved my way towards being one of the creators of a new comic book, and gave me confidence in my self-motivation and determination. Recently I’ve become a more serious musician, having newly acquired a drummer, violinist, and flautist to my band that started out with just my sister and I. Thus I will likely have some musical influence sneaking into my characters this year.

Here’s when the band was just my sister and me. I’m dressed as one of my comic book characters, Dr. Rainbow.

Okay, I couldn’t figure out how to get the thumbnails to automatically be linked to their pages through the “post gallery” button. But luckily, I knew some HTML and just made a table for them. Yes, I know. It’s OCD. IT’S ALL I KNOW. I hope you enjoy my gallery, if you can stand another peek at it. Happy arting, everyone.

No. 30: Cunt-Tree

| December 1, 2010 | 2 Comments

Have to be honest.
This character was inspired from a conversation I had with friends in reference to,
“My country ’tis of thee.”

So this is my Cunt Tree.
It grew in the sweet land of Liberty,
where the word “cunt” doesn’t have
a negative connotation.
Where it is but a word
that cannot harm,
but in fact uplifts and promotes growth.

I like it.

Last entry, a successful 30 characters later.
Holy crap, I actually did it.
Thank you SO MUCH to the makers of this site.
This was just the thing I needed to get back to my imagination.
Looking forward to next year.
Thanks everyone, for sharing your amazing art.
You guys rock.
