#16 – The Widowmaker (GWP)

| November 17, 2011 | 4 Comments

I hate that I’m a day behind. And I hate that I have no idea what’s next.

This is the last of my Galaxy Wrestling Pro characters. It only figures that I’d have a “monster” type in there (like the Undertaker or Kane). Thing about him is he’s the most human of all the Earthlings. He takes the mask off, the character is kept for the arena. When the match is over, and he gets backstage, he is just himself. The others…they are always on. ‘Maker is all business when the cameras are rolling. He desperately wants to get back home to his family.

NOTE: I’m using Hero-O-Matic (aka Fabrica De Herois) to create my characters. If you’re a writer who can’t draw (like me!), you might want to try it!

Tomorrow…a surprise for all of us!

About the Author ()

I'm not exactly sure what I should put here, so here goes. I'm a writer, written for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, AdHouse Books, and Simon & Schuster, among others and his stories have been reprinted in other countries. Mostly concentrating on creator owned work right now, so the challenge suits me just fine. I live in Queens (Astoria/LIC), NY with my wife, Michelle, and two dogs, Kasey and Kirby. I'm not sure what else needs to be said, but I'm sure I'll keep changing this. Oh, here's something. I contribute to the Project Rooftop site. The RetroFix column was kind of my idea, so I feel like that experience will help me out here.

The widowmaker is badass! Like the proportion on this character. He really sets himself apart from the rest of what you have done. Your also finishing the pieces better each time. This one really feels complete and professional in the inking and color. Well done!

  2. I hate to ruin the illusion, but I’m not actually drawing these. I can’t draw at all! I’m using Fabrica de Herois, similar to Hero Machine, but without the stupid ownership dispute.

    But thanks!

Thats funny. And i thought they looked like they were progressing in style. Oh well, maybe your getting better at plugging in your choices for accessories or something. LOL Thanks for being up front about it.

  4. Great job Vito. He looks impressive.
