#3 Dirty Bomb

Its a safe bet that this guy is on a few “No Fly” lists.

So, I got a new Wacom yesterday, and I took it on a test drive with this piece. This is one of the first all digital drawings I’ve ever done. I’m not sure if I’ll ever make the switch to total digital, (the lack of original art is a bit unsettling to me) but it was a fun experiment.

What a great first foray into complete digital work!

  2. Nice, I would like to think he is an ex-elementary school janitor who got caught in some unfortunate chemical accident.

Awesome first attempt, the one thing I would like to point out, is that Photoshop cs5 has gone leaps and bounds with the brush tool, so line thickness and more control with brushes is easier than ever.

This is awesome, keep up the great work.

Just watch out for the coloring not go out of the lineart, like in the boots. Though I think it would be cool if that happened for the entire character.

  5. Nice! Really like the way the face/head turned out!

Nice Job Bobby! I like the silhoueted skull and the green flames licking off his head. For an early digital piece this is badass. I agree with Gregory.

Thanks everyone, but I think I’ll just stick with Pen and ink for now. It was fun, though!

When you’re in a freak accident that turns you into a flaming radioactive freak, you don’t look exactly like that. Clothes, even radiation suits, burn away and you’re a burning naked man walking around. This is highly disturbing, particularly the guy’s sack in a constant state of thermonuclear combustion.

Gah! Keep doing digital. This is awesome!
