#9 – Vulcan

| November 9, 2010 | 4 Comments

Vulcan is a God of craftsmen and fire, specifically, metal working. In the Mythoscape, that makes him the Blacksmith. He’s one of three gods who refuse to snap their fingers to get what they want (mostly). With Hephaestus and Ptah, Vulcan formed the 3 Gods Construction Company. These guys love to get their hands dirty and value hard work above all else. Goes without saying, they’re not gonna like Roland.

Looks a bit pudgy for a god, but it does give him some character. Also, nice with making the red stripes look like suspenders.

Both Vulcan and Hephaestus are gods of the forge while Ptah seems to have been more craftsmanship and crafting in general. So, I’m interested in seeing how you do Hephaestus. 🙂

A working man’s god. Doing what he can each day of the week… I took some liberties with the design. Vulcan was kinda blank as far as visuals.
